The messages "Engine Power Reduced” and “Low Fuel" were displayed, and the vehicle lost motive power and decelerated to 20 MPH. The vehicle was driven to the residence. The vehicle was later taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that there were metal fragments inside the fuel pump and the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage 63,000.
