I first experienced the ABS, Traction Control, and Brake warning lights on December 20, 2025, while driving. I knew something was wrong because whenever I turned the steering wheel, braked hard, or drove over potholes, all three lights would come on and remain lit for about a minute. Each time I turned the car off and restarted it, the lights would disappear. However, if I drove the vehicle for an extended period, the lights would eventually come back on. At first, I believed the issue was related to my brakes. I ordered new brakes and rotors and had them installed by my certified mechanic. Unfortunately, about an hour after the repair, the ABS, Traction Control, and Brake lights came on again. I immediately contacted my mechanic and brought the vehicle back in for a diagnostic test. The diagnostic results showed that the ABS module is faulty. My mechanic explained that this malfunction is what is causing all three warning lights to appear on my dashboard. I was advised that the ABS module must be replaced by the manufacturer or a dealership. After researching this issue, I discovered that this same problem has occurred on multiple occasions with Honda Crosstours over the years, indicating that this may be a known or recurring defect. I fear for my safety and life.
I am having problems with my car starting… even after replacing the starter 3 times. I am having the exact issue referenced in TSB No.16-002. I can hear the grinding noise but due to the incorrect positioning of the torque converter ring gear, the starter isn’t spinning the engine at startup even after replacing the starter. I can’t afford to keep replacing the starter and have my car not start everyday. Is Honda able to help with this issue?
The rear camera, backup camera appears to have bad seal. The inside fogs up. Blurring the camera image. This eventually leads to failure. I had the Honda dealer replace my previous original camera at my expense, a year later the same problem has arisen. The Camera mounted on the passenger side mirror does not have this issue and seems to be a different model camera.
FDW, LDW, TRAC, and ABS lights are on. Honda Service center ran a diagnostic check and recommended replacing VSA Modulator. Issue is common and is due to VSA modulator having small gauge wires. It is a design defect causing many VSA modulators to fail. Repair costs include $1,952 for the modulator plus labor. I ordered a replacement part in June 2023, but it has not yet arrived. I searched online. A YouTube video named "Why is this not a recall by Honda? ABS module Failure 2013 to 2017 and more" explains the issue. The YouTube video is posted by RB the mechanic. The comments under the video are from some people who encountered the same issue. It is an issue in a variety if Honda vehicles.

Starter intermittently grinds and does not start or nothing happens at all. There is a known problem with this issue
The car is rusting on the inside door panel. This is being caused because the undercoating from the mafia missed spots under the rear wheel well. This is clearly a mafia defect. No one at Honda is willing to help. They blame it on the seat belt causing it to rust. The car only leaks when driving because the water enters the car when the wheels are moving. Other Crosstour owners are having the same problem.

The contacat stated that after making a right turn and slowing down to about 15 mph when the contact noticed the vehicle began accelerating more than intended. The contact removed their foot from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal however the vehicle failed to stop. The vehicle ended up crashing into a building nearby. The air bags did deploy. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed and deemed totaled. The driver received injuries to their noise, chest and back. The passenger received a knee injury and other body contusions. Medical attention was needed. The dealer was not made aware of the issue. The manufacturer was made aware and opened a case regarding the matter. The approximate failure mileage was 42,500.
The contact owns a 2014 Honda Crosstour. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start intermittently, and the contact heard a grinding noise. ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING (EPS) FAILED WHILE DRIVING (65 MPH) ON THE INTERSTATE (I29, 1/22/21). IMMEDIATELY DROVE VEHICLE TO HONDA DEALER AND CODE WAS RESET. DROVE APPROXIMATELY 1/4 MILE AND EPS FAILED AGAIN. DIAGNOSTIC SCAN (CODES 51-07 & 51-01) REVEALED A FAULTY TORQUE SENSOR, WHICH WAS REPLACED ($1,485). EPS FAILED AGAIN ON 2/22/21 WHILE TURNING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT (25 MPH) AND NEARLY WRECKED THE VEHICLE DUE TO LOSS OF POWER STEERING. DROVE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND AWAITING A RESPONSE. THERE ARE TSBS (EPS WARRANTY EXTENSION) ISSUED BY AMERICAN HONDA BUT THE DEALER HAS NOT RECOGNIZED THESE COMMUNICATIONS.
REAR WHEELS BECAME CUPPED DUE TO MISALIGNMENT DESPITE HAVING ONLY 24,000 MILES. REAR WHEEL DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO ADJUST CAMBER WHICH LEADS TO THE ISSUE. DRIVING ON CUPPED TIRES CAUSES THEM TO HEAT UP WHICH COULD LEAD TO SUBSEQUENT FAILURE.

"SYSTEM STARTER" LIGHT APPEARS ON THE DASH. CAR WILL NOT START. SOUNDS OF GRINDING AND ALMOST LIKE A HISSING SOUND COMING OUT. IT HAS TO DO WITH THE PUSH BUTTON START. SOMETHING IS WRONG. HONDA IS WELL AWARE OF THIS ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN READING ABOUT IT VIA ONLINE FOR A WHILE, THERE ARE QUITE A FEW CASES OF THIS IN ALL MODELS HONDA MANUFACTURES. IT IS A VERY COSTLY REPAIR, ONE THAT HONDA SHOULD MAKE A RECALL OR PAY US CUSTOMERS BACK. *TR
