McLaren Automotive Incorporated (McLaren) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Artura vehicles. A pipe in the low-pressure fuel pipe assembly may detach, which can result in a fuel leak.
Risk
A fuel leak in the presence of hot engine components can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the low-pressure fuel pipe assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 7, 2023. Owners may contact McLaren customer service at 855-202-8815.

McLaren Automotive Incorporated (McLaren) is recalling certain 2023 Artura vehicles. The nuts for the high pressure fuel pipe may loosen, which can result in a fuel leak.
Risk
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as hot engine components, can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the high pressure fuel pipes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 27, 2022. Owners may contact McLaren customer service at 1-646-429-8916.

The contact owns a 2023 McLaren Artura. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH the "Hybrid System failure, call McLaren Service Center" message displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the vehicle remained in the dealer's possession for three weeks before the contact was informed that a software update needed to be performed. Once the vehicle was returned to the contact, the dealer then informed the contact that the hydraulic bearing was defective; however, the part needed for the repair was on backorder. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The contact also received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V908000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the parts for the recall repair was unavailable. The vehicle was not repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 1,200.
