MY KEY IS STUCK IN THE IGNITION. WE WERE ON VACATION AND ON SAT MAY 23,2020 WHEN WE GOT BACK TO OUR HOTEL THE KEY WOULDN'T RELEASE TO COME OUT OF IGNITION
WHILE DRIVING THE TRANSMISSION STARTED TO SLIP OUT OF GEAR FROM DRIVE TO NETURAL TO DRIVE WHILE BOTH LIGHTS ARE SHOWING THE CAR IS IN THAT GEAR . WHILE TRYING TO ACCELERATE THE CAR BRAKES ENGAGED AND THE WENT BACK INTO DRIVE ,AND I HAD TO DRIVE HIW AT A VERY LOW SPEED TO MAKE IT HOME.
FUEL FILLER NECK IS DEFECTIVE CAUSING CODE P0442. CAR VIN WAS NEVER PART OF RECALL. I SHOULD GET REIMBURSED FOR THIS REPAIR.
I HAD REPLACED THE WATER PUMPS GETTING READY TO REPLACE IT AGAIN AND WHEN IT WENT OUT THE POWER STEERING MESSED UP I'M ALSO HAVING ISSUES WITH THE TIMING BELT IT WAS REPLACED AT 112,000 MILES AND IT WAS INSPECTED AT 121,000 AND WAS OKAY BUT IT SNAPPED ON ME THE OTHER DAY THE HIGHWAY REPLACING IT FOR THE SECOND TIME NOW AT 188,000+ MILES NOT EVEN 100,000 MILES LATER FROM THE FIRST TIME. THIS ISN'T CHEAP ALSO MY HEATER CORE WENT AGAIN.
CAR WOULD NOT START AFTER PUMPING FUEL IN - TOOK TO MECHANIC; HE SAID BATTERY FINE FEW DAYS LATER, CAR WOULD NOT START AFTER PUMPING FUEL IN - TOOK TO MECHANIC; HE SAID BATTERY BAD. I REPLACED BATTERY. FEW DAYS LATER, CAR WOULD NOT START AFTER PUMPING FUEL IN - TOOK TO MECHANIC; HE SAID NEW BATTERY FINE. SINCE CAR DID NOT START 3 TIMES IN A ROW AFTER PUMPING GAS, AND I NEEDED A JUMP EVERY TIME, I HAD MECHANIC DO A DIAGNOSTIC. HE SAID THE ISSUE WAS TIED TO A RECALL BULLETIN. 10V065000 - FILLER PIPE AND CAP. CALLED MITSUBISHI TO FIX IT BUT THEY SAID MY CAR DOES NOT QUALIFY BECAUSE I AM STATE OF CALIFORNIA. I DO A LOT OF MY DRIVING IN SNOW SO I FEEL MITSUBISHI SHOULD FIX THIS FOR ME. THIS IS A POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD SO I NEED TO FIX IT ASAP (PLUS I DON'T WANT TO GET STUCK AT A GAS STATION AGAIN NEEDING A JUMP). I'D LIKE MITSUBISHI TO REIMBURSE ME FOR THIS EXPENSE BECAUSE NOW I HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET.
I BOUGHT IT LIKE THIS AND DON'T REALLY KNOW
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE NEUTRAL AND DRIVE INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AT THE SAME TIME. AFTER TURNING THE ENGINE OFF AND BACK ON, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT DRIVE FORWARD OR IN REVERSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALER (MITSUBISHI/HYUNDAI IN BRANDON, FL), BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.
THE CAR HAS BEEN ACCUMULATING FLUID ON THE FLOOR OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE. USURE OF WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS, WE HAVE BEEN ABSORBING THE WATER AND AIRING OUT THE CAR. MOLD HAS ACCUMULATED AS WELL (BLACK MOLD) AND NOW I KNOW WHY I'VE HAD REPEATED RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS, INCLUDING PNEUMONIA THREE TIMES OVER THE PAST 2 YEARS. RUST IS ALSO FORMING DUE TO THE CONSTANT HUMIDITY LEVELS INSIDE THE CAR. THE BRAKE PEDAL SEEMS TO BE RUSTING AS WELL AS THE DRIVER'S SIDE CHAIR FLOOR MOUNT. I CANNOT SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE ELECTRICAL WIRING, AS IT IS COVERED BY THE PANELS. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS TIMES THAT DUE TO THE LIQUID ON THE FLOOR OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE, MY FOOT HAS SLIPPED WHILE DEPRESSING THE BRAKE WHICH HAS LED TO POTENTIAL ACCIDENTS. AS I CANNOT SEE THE FLOOR ITSELF (DUE TO THE CARPETING), I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS RUSTING OUT AS WELL. I HAVE NOT TAKEN IT TO A DEALER YET, SINCE I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS... I THOUGHT THAT MAYBE RAIN WAS GETTING INTO THE CAR SOMEHOW. WELL, SINCE IT HASN'T RAINED IN OVER ONE WEEK, AND THE PUDDLE IN THE CAR WAS WORSE THAN EVER BEFORE, I SUSPECTED THE A/C SYSTEM. I WENT ONLINE AND HAVE FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AND YET THERE IS NO RECALL? I AM APPALLED THAT THIS SITUATION HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED? FUNGAL RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS CAN LEAD TO DEATH, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE VULNERABLE. SLIPPERY BRAKE PEDALS, RUSTING FLOOR BOARDS AND RUSTING SEAT FLOOR ANCHORS, POTENTIAL FOR ELECTRICAL SHORTS AND/OR FIRES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. THE COMPANY HAS APPARENTLY NOT TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY FOR THESE ISSUES. PERHAPS IT WILL TAKE A DEATH FOR A RECALL? I WOULD LIKE TO EMPHASIZE THAT NO MECHANIC WAS ABLE TO DEFINITIVELY TELL US WHERE THIS LEAK WAS COMING FROM, NOR WERE WE ABLE TO TELL... UNTIL NOW. IT HAS BEEN TWO YEARS. THIS CAR HAS NO RESELL VALUE AND SHOULD NOT BE SOLD DUE TO THE POTENTIAL FOR SERIOUS HARM. THIS MATTER IS LONG OVERDUE!

I WAS HIT BY A CITY TRANSIT BUS AND AIR BAG DID NOT OPEN
I HAVE TALKED TO MITSUBISHI NUMEROUS TIMES SINCE AUGUST 2016. THEY KEEP PASSING THE BUCK OR CASE MANAGER IS ON VACATION. I'VE BEEN USING A HOSE AND FUNNEL TO FUEL MY CAR BECAUSE THE FILL TUBE HAS RUSTED OUT. THIS AND 4 MORE RECALLS ON THIS CAR PUTS ME IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT MITSUBISHI IS AWARE OF. I AM TIRED OF GETTING THE RUN AROUND.

HAD RECALL REPAIRED (FUEL INJECTION PIPE)@ POMOCO HAMPTON VA. IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS, ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING 6 MILES UP THE ROAD. FIVE DAYS LATER WATER STARTED LEAKING ON DRIVER SIDE ONLY. TOOK VEHICLE BACK TO DEALER. THEY STATED, A HOSE WAS MISSING ON RECALL REPAIR. I WONDERED WHY WHENEVER I TOPPED OFF GAS @ THE PUMP, FUEL LEAKED FROM BACK TIRE AREA UNDER VEHICLE. FIRE HAZARD. THEY QUOTED 1500 TO FIX WATER LEAK. GOT A IT FIX @ ANOTHER AUTO REPAIR. SIX MTHS LATER, BACK TO POMOCO FOR YRLY INSPECTION, 2 DAYS LATER, WHENEVER I PRESS BRAKES, MAKE TURNS ON CITY STREETS, HIGHWAY, OR IN MOTION I FEEL SOMETHING ROLLS UNDER MY FEET BUT CANT SEE IT, MUST BE UNDERNEATH. A MTH AFTERWARDS, EVERYTHING IS WET. ALL THE FLOOR BOARDS, PUDDLES. CARDBOARD, TOWELS NOTHING WILL STOP THE WATER FLOW WITH AC FUNCTIONING. I HAVE 128,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE, BOUGHT IN 2010 WITH 51,000 ON IT. EVER SINCE THE FUEL PIPE RECALL, THAT POMOCO TOOK 3 MTHS TO COMPLETE BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WANT TO DO THE WORK WHICH FORCED ME TO FILE COMPLAINT WITH THE CORPORATION, NHTSA, & ONE OTHER, I'VE HAD WATER PROBLEMS. THIS WILL BE TAKEN TO A HIGHER LEGAL LEVEL DUE TO THIS IS & CONTINUES TO CAUSE HARM, INTENTIONAL OR OTHERWISE. WE'RE ADVISED HERE NOT TO GET PERSONAL BUT MOLD & MUSHROOMS ETC, SHOULD NOT EXIST IN A VEHICLE. I SEE THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE WITH LOTS OF OTHERS AND NOTHING DONE TO DATE. STARTED IN AROUND OCT 2015 (RECALL REPAIR) & AGAIN MAY 2016.

THIS PROBLEM IS NOT RELATED TO THE AGE OF VEHICLE, NOR IS IT OWNER-CREATED. IT IS A MANUFACTURER DESIGN FLAW. DRIVER-SIDE FRONT FLOOR STAYS SOAKING WET. SHOES GET WET AND SLIPPERY WHICH IS DANGEROUS WHILE PRESSING ON GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS (DRIVING HAZARD). MOLD CONTINUES TO GROW EVEN AFTER CLEANED (HEALTH HAZARD). TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM IS A FAILED GROMMET FROM THE EVAPORATOR CORE DRAIN. NO RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED ($700 REPAIR ESTIMATE TO REPLACE GROMMET). DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARDS, A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED FOR THIS MANUFACTURER FLAW/FAULTY MATERIAL!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY ACCELERATED TO 85 MPH WITHOUT WARNING. THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT FAILED TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT SHIFTED THE VEHICLE INTO THE NEUTRAL POSITION AND IT STOPPED ABRUPTLY. AS A RESULT OF THE STOP, THE VEHICLE WENT INTO AN EMBANKMENT, FLIPPED DOWN A HILL, AND LANDED IN ANOTHER EMBANKMENT. AS THE VEHICLE FLIPPED, THE DASH PANEL DETACHED AND STRUCK THE CONTACT. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNAVAILABLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRAINAGE TUBE FOR THE AIR CONDITIONER UNIT WAS CLOGGED AND NEEDED TO BE UNCLOGGED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 114,000.
