The manufacturer was not yet contacted regarding the failure. The contact stated that the motorcycle had experienced the failure listed in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V528000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 5,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO KEN & JOE'S HONDA KAWASAKI KTM (LOCATED AT 21618 GOLDEN TRIANGLE RD, SANTA CLARITA, CA 91350, (661) 254-2909) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BANK ANGLE SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER AN UNKNOWN RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 430.
I M GOING TO THE DEALER ASK FOR THE SAFETY CLAIM RECALL ISSUE WITH MY HONDA CBR300R AND THE SERVICE GUY SEND ME TO ANOTHER DEALER TELLING ME THAT THE CLAIM IS ALREADY DID FOR ANOTHER DEALER AND WHEN I HAVE 1 FULL WEEK WAITING AND WHEN I CHECK THE INFORMATION APPEAR LIKE THE RESET FOR THIS CLAIM RECALL DID THE SAME DAY FOR THIS DEALER IN SANTA CLARITA AND THE ISSUE IS CONTINUE WITH MY BIKE. I PAY TRAVELING FOR DROPE MY BIKE TO THIS DEALER AND STILL THEY HAVE MY BIKE THERE.
