The dealer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and diagnosed that the steering gear box was fractured. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.
FRONT LEFT & RIGHT BLINKERS FAIL AT DIFFERENT TIMES. ERROR CODE READS, "CHECK FRONT RIGHT TURN SIGNAL." FAULT HAPPENS AT VARIOUS TIMES, WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY, AT A STOP SIGN, ETC. FAULT APPEARS & BLINKER IS INOPERABLE. DEALERSHIP HAS TRIED 8 TIMES TO FIX ISSUE.
