Ever since I bought the car with zero miles I been having electrical issues. From reverse camera to low wash fluid light that doesn’t turned off . Now even when it’s over 100 degrees outside my car marks inside that’s 26 degrees . And now my Ac completely stopped working. I don’t know what to do I only owe $4,000 on my car
See attached document for complaint.
Engine and transmission disengaged from each other and I could no longer accelerate or keep speed. I had to pull over, turn off the car and turn it back on. Local shop took a look and confirmed a cooling System Failure. The system is not at the right pressure at operating temperature. Exhaust gasses in cooling system.
February 14 early afternoon the car was just acting funny like I didn’t wanna go started jerking I pulled over on I-95 where the car continue to jerk and act funny so I cut the car off. Try to cut it back on and it wouldn’t crank up all the way, so I had to get the car to back to my address where I had a old mechanic come out to inspect with the problem. Engine light came on through some codes telling me it was ignition coils, and other things got those fixed same cold still appeared at the car inspected further, somehow some kind of way engine oil was in the connector to the ECM. Nothing ever been majorly wrong with the car maintenance and oil changes in engine oil just happened to be in the connector to the ECM. Bought those parts install still no change carbon setting since February and today’s date is May 22
Engine Malfunction light is on and off while at a stop light.
Have been getting “engine malfunction power reduced” already had it repaired once. Not sure what is causing this since it was just “repaired “. New battery in place. Also has accident icons on dashboard
I bought my 2019 Nissan Altima SR from Westshore Mazda in Tampa. The next day I locked and unlocked the car and noticed that only the driver‘s door was working so three out of the four doors don’t lock and unlock by either the driver side door or the key fobs. I looked this up online and noticed it’s a defect on a lot of these models and the sentras.
I continuously have issues with it showing a crash and with the warning "engine malfunction, power reduced, service now" light coming on. This has been a recurring issue. There is always a light coming on in this car. I don't know if it is sensitive sensors or if it was poorly made.
Passenger side window stopped going up resulting in the window being down at all times. Tried to repair with a master switch replacement was unsuccessful and replaced the window regulator but did not resolve issue. Safety issue for many.
Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2019 Nissan Altima. The contact discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy after the purchase. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 60,000. It was later discovered upon checking a Carfax Report that the mileage was 180,000.
I recently bought a 2019 Nissan Altima SR and when I got it home I noticed the door locks weren't locking or unlocking on 3 doors! The salesman didn't mention any problems with the car and I inspected it and didn't notice this until I got it home. This is a safety issue and everything should work on a vehicle when one buys it. There were no warnings and I have a family with two teen kids and one drives. I've reported this to the dealer and they haven't responded yet. I don't feel safe in the car with this problem and I also saw this is a common complaint on different websites. I can't afford to shell out more money for a repair that should of been done before they sold it to me. There should be an immediate recall that nissan needs to address this.
I’ve owned this vehicle since March 2023, and I have experienced several electrical issues. For instance, my car displays a malfunction warning and the check engine light multiple times throughout the month. When the engine malfunction warning appears, the engine will not accelerate, and if the vehicle is idling, it will shut off. I then have to restart the car. Another issue involves the door locks. I am sometimes unable to lock my doors using the key, or the lock will get stuck and not open. I have also seen other complaints reporting the same issue. This is concerning and poses a safety hazard.
Thermostat has been replaced twice. Car is still having issues with overheating. First replacement of thermoastat the car ran fine for about 2 months then the car started doing the same thing. It will overheat and then come right down again. Thermostat was replace again and was doing good then the same issue keeps occuring. My car currently has 175000 miles. No warning lights come on when the vehicle begins to overheat
I am filing this complaint because the locking system on my 2019 Nissan Altima has been malfunctioning for a few years, and it has now become a serious safety issue. I first noticed that my back doors and my front driver-side doors would not lock or unlock when using the remote or the button inside the car. This is very concerning because it means my car is often unsecured when it should be locked, and there are never any warning lamps or messages to let me know the system failed. I have to manually lock and unlock the doors myself just to get them to work, which has happened multiple times while my kids were trying to exit the vehicle. The problem has recently gotten worse. Last week, I had an issue where the door would not open at all because the latch stayed engaged even though the door was "unlocked." I had to pull the manual lever multiple times before it would finally open. This constant locking issue is a major risk because it could prevent us from getting out of the car quickly in an emergency. The vehicle and these components are available for inspection, and I am taking the car to Nissan tomorrow to have the problem confirmed and inspected.
A truck was turning without signaling and we were passing on right side assuming he was turning left- and he suddenly jerked right causing major impact and sent us into ditch where we were stopped by impacting a solid fence.
When putting my vehicle in reverse, I noticed the screen on the back up camera was blank/black color and did not show the angles/guide of which I was parking. I also noticed on my dashboard the clock at some point changed to "am" and said 109am when it was 529pm so I had to manually change the time. I never disconnected the battery for this to have happened. Everything else shows on the screen EXCEPT for the use of the back up camera so it must be a glitch with the software or wiring
I changed the Air Mass Flow sensor and it’s still showing the check engine light on my dash board and giving me the same code after replacing it brand new. My brakes sound horrible after replacing both sets of brakes, front and back. The Foward Collision Warning sensor did not respond in a timely matter, resulting in a minor fender bender.
Every time I put the breaks on or go over any kind of speed bump, it bounces and sounds like warn out bed springs. Out of nowhere The volume on my radio will turn up extremely loud. Its happened more than a handful of times while driving and it scared me to the point of having to pull over to gather myself. Some days it doesn’t work at all. The past 3 months, My front passenger window gets stuck and won’t go up without me turning the car off then back on and still at times won’t work. I’ve had no choice but to leave the window down more than enough times and putting plastic over it until it decides to work again. The engine shakes and it feels like the transmission is about to give.
I had my seat warmer on and smelled something burning my coat had caught fire and wires in back of seat were smoking.
