On July 1,2026 , My 2020 Jeep wrangler jl sport died in the middle of traffic causing a safety issue. I was not able to start my jeep and move out of traffic. I was able to disable the transmission and roll out of the road. But it was very dangerous while cars were passing me and coming towards me. Also before I was able to disable to roll my steering column was locked. The cause of this safety issue is the set up of the batteries. A jeep has 2 batteries a main and underneath an auxillary battery. Without any kind of warning your battery can die caused by the drain of the auxillary battery on the main battery causing the main battery to just stop working without notice. This is the 2nd time this happened.I had to call a tow truck both times. 1st time 4/14/24, then on 07/02/2026 I had it towed to the same dealership as the time before. This is an on going issue with jeeps that have the 2 batteries. Not only is it unsafe but a costly issue.

Had no warning messages or alerts. The Instrument Cluster Display Screen went black. We have no way of knowing the amount of gas, speed, mileage, tire pressure or any other alerts. I believe this to be a safety issue. Have replaced both the main and auxiliary battery. There are many 2020 Jeep Wranglers that are recalled for this very issue. Wondering why mine is not.

Failed emission test and the car is 6 years old. I have had this car in for the death wobble and told them the engine fan stays on. It has done this for years. Dealer kept stating it just had to cool off. The Jeep vehicles that have the deal wobble should be recalled very dangerous. I have videos I can submit.

On 4/28/26, my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited suffered a catastrophic high-voltage system failure, causing the vehicle to completely shut off at highway speeds on a live road. Stuck on the highway for nearly 3 hours at around rush hour blocking one lane of traffic. The dealership (Ourisman Jeep) diagnosed a failed 48V Hybrid Power Pack Unit (Part #68381513AA) under STAR Order #9575**. This sudden loss of power on the highway is a severe safety defect, and the manufacturer is refusing to cover the $3,327.94 repair or the resulting 3-week rental vehicle loss of use."

Driving downhill at 70mph on highway. crossed from #2 lane to #1 lane. I did not hit any potholes, I believe I just drove over the "bot dots". This started the "death wobble", the uncontrolled oscillations in the front suspension/tires. I had to take my foot off the accelerator and let the vehicle come down to about 35mph before the violent shaking stopped. I could reproduce this on my own by hitting potholes at speeds as low as 60mph. There were no warning lights on the dash before, during or after incident. Suspension was subsequently checked at an independent shop but they saw no "smoking gun" in the front end.

On April 13, 2026, at approximately 67,312 miles, my vehicle experienced a fuel system failure when the main fuel supply line leading to the high-pressure fuel pump cracked and began actively leaking raw gasoline onto the top of the transmission in the engine compartment. There were no prior dashboard warning lights or error messages; the only symptom leading up to the failure was a extremely strong odor of raw gasoline coming from the engine bay area. I believed this fuel leak created an immediate, severe risk of an engine compartment fire. I immediately brought the vehicle to an authorized factory dealership, where certified technicians acting on behalf of the manufacturer inspected the system, confirmed the active leak emitting raw fuel odors, and successfully removed and replaced the failed supply line to resolve the issue. If needed, the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Furthermore, my vehicle is factory-equipped with the 2.0L Turbo engine, meaning this failure is identical to the documented fire hazard covered under FCA Safety Recall Y10 (NHTSA Campaign 21V-665). Even though my specific production sequence was not actively flagged under the manufacturer's recall lookup system, I believe the component failed in the exact same hazardous manner described in the official recall.

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at 50 MPH, the vehicle was violently shaking. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the failure occurred after driving over a bump in the road. The contact stated that the violent shaking felt like a tornado. In addition, the contact stated that the failure was persistent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed steering damper. The contact was informed that the steering damper needed to be replaced. The vehicle ws not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 82,000.

The cam bus connector also known as the green star box behind the glove box was defective. I would drive 32-35 miles and my dashboard would light up with 17 codes, abs, 4wd, steering, anti skid, my speed would disappear as well as my mph into three dashes, my check engine light would eliminate as well as service 4wd, pull over to a safe location vechile disabled as the entire jeep slammed itself into park. I can’t imagine what would have happened to me if I didn’t get this resolved and I was going to work driving on the highway doing 55 and this happened and the vehicle slammed itself into park. I would not be here today to tell my story and potentially save other lives as I’m sure this is a known recall and or should be! I called jeep and was notified that this is a known recall but my vin was listed for the recall. So here I am in hopes to get this resolved for all jeeps out there to get this addressed. I would also like to be reimbursed for the parts and labor getting this fixed. I have the video footage of this happening as well and a pic of the cam bus fuse connector showing the burnt electrical components. This will not let me upload a video only photos.. the video is very important in this case and I feel you should have it for this, if so please email me or contact me and I can send it.

Purchased the 2020 Jeep Wranger on January 9, 2025 with less than 50K miles on it and still under warranty. Around March 2020 the instrument panel began to glitch and by April it was completely blank. I had it diagnosed by Eddys Jeep in Wichita Kansas who gave me a price for repair but parts were on back order. I then took it to my mechanic who ordered the parts which have been on order for over a year. We are unable to see the speed, fuel level, back up camera, no radio or phone charging or warnign lights. Dash is completely dark. I would like to replace the vehicle but am unable to get fair market value and do not want to be held liable for selling a lemon.

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, there was an abnormal fuel odor entering the cabin of the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. Upon further inspection, the contact became aware of gasoline leaking from the fuel supply line onto the engine. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact stated that the fuel leak was associated with NHTSA Campaign: 21V665000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

Vehicle Information: 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Complaint: I am reporting a safety issue involving my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon related to both the transmission and instrument cluster. In 2025, the transmission failed unexpectedly. The failure affected the vehicle’s ability to operate normally and created a potential safety hazard while driving. The issue required repair and appears consistent with other reported transmission problems in similar vehicles, even though my specific VIN was not included in any recall. In 2026, the instrument cluster failed, mileage at time of failure 108073. This caused loss or malfunction of critical driver information, including speed and warning indicators. This is a serious safety concern because it limits the driver’s ability to monitor vehicle operation and respond to potential hazards. These failures occurred within a year of each other and involve critical vehicle systems. I am aware that similar issues (transmission and instrument cluster failures) have been reported and/or recalled in other 2020 Jeep Wrangler vehicles, but my VIN has not been included. Given that the same components have failed in my vehicle, I believe this indicates a broader defect that may extend beyond the currently identified recall population. Safety Risk: Both failures pose safety risks: •Transmission failure can lead to loss of power or control while driving •Instrument cluster failure prevents the driver from seeing speed, warnings, and other critical information Request: I request that this issue be investigated and that the recall scope be reviewed and potentially expanded to include additional affected vehicles like mine.
