Chassis is rusting out. Drivers side rear spring shackle, bracket fell off and need to be replaced costing me about $500.00. Mazda b2300 is also a Ford Ranger which also has similar issues. My truck has about 170,000 miles on the odometer. The drive train is strong; idles and runs smooth, does not burn oil.

THE AIR BAGS (INCLUDING A REPAIRED RECALLED AIR BAG) DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DRIVER WAS UNINJURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER DECLARED DESTROYED AND TOWED AWAY BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 51,117.
RECALL ISSUED MARCH 2016. AS OF 4/31/2017, NO INSTRUCTIONS FROM MAZDA TO GET REPAIRED. BEEN A YEAR SINCE RECALL ISSUED. WHAT'S GOING ON.
TAKATA RECALL INFORMED BY LETTER ON JULY 2015 THAT IF MY AIRBAG DEPLOYS IN A CRASH IT MAY KILL ME OR MY PASSENGER. IT IS NOW 01/17 AND STILL NOT FIXED. WHY WOULD YOU INFORM THE PUBLIC THEN TAKE 1.5 YEARS PLUS TO FIX PROBLEM? I UNDERSTAND HOW LARGE THE RECALL IS BUT OVER A YEAR FOR NO REPAIRS OR ANY FURTHER COMMUNICATION OF ANY KIND. YOU ALL SHOULD BE FIRED AND YOU ARE COMPLETELY WORTHLESS. THAT'S LIKE TELLING SOMEONE, IF YOUR HOUSE CATCHES ON FIRE THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE IF YOUR SMOKE ALARM GOES OFF IT COULD KILL OR INJURE EVERYONE IN YOUR HOME THAN SAYING WE WILL LET YOU KNOW AND THEN WALKING AWAY.
