This is a complaint about Mazda. I have brought my vehicle in 3 times, after they confirmed an appointment and stated they had the part. All three times it appears whoever makes the appointment doesn’t communicate with the dealer Service Center. I have the FOURTH appointment this Wednesday at Royal Motors, San Francisco. I will call a day ahead to make sure the part is there before I bring it in. I know it’s an older vehicle and they have to order parts. They made the appointment for me, after saying the part was in. Recall never fixed
Takata Recall. The contact owns a 2007 Mazda B-Series Truck. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V162000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect. The contact stated that they were finally able to get the air bags replaced.
I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM MAZDA. I AM IN HAWAII. MAZDA HAS MOVED OFF OF THIS ISLAND. I CAN NOT GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE AT MAZDA AS THEIR 800-222-5500 NUMBER DOES NOT ANSWER. THIS RECALL REGARDS THE INFLATOR OF THE AIRBAG EXPLODING DUE TO HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATIONS. HAWAII = HUMIDITY. I SEEMINGLY HAVE NO RECOURSE AS NEITHER THE PROVIDED MAZDA NUMBER DOES NOT ANSWER 800-222-5500 NOR DOES ANYONE PICK UP AT THE NHTSA NUMBER PROVIDED IN THE RECALL NOTICE 888-327-4236. IS THERE ANYBODY WHO CAN GIVE ME INFORMATION?
REC'D AIRBAG RECALL LETTER IN AUG 2016. TO DATE MAZDA HAS BEEN NOT BEEN HEPLFUL WITH REPLACEMENT OF THE AIRBAG.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
TAKATA RECALL DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS, I HAVE CONTACTED DEALER, NO REMEDY IS YET AVAILABLE
IN AUGUST 2016, I RECEIVED AN "IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL" NOTICE FROM MAZDA, INDICATING THAT MY 2007 MAZDA B3000 TRUCK HAS BEEN RECALLED AS PART OF THE TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL. NO OTHER INFORMATION WAS RECEIVED FROM MAZDA. IN APRIL 2017, I EMAILED MAZDA CUSTOMER SERVICE TO CHECK THE STATUS OF THE RECALL, AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PARTS FOR THE RECALL ARE NOT AVAILABLE. THEY WILL NOTIFY US WHEN THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. IT'S NOW BEEN 17 MONTHS, SINCE THE RECALL WAS ISSUED. THIS VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED BY FORD MOTOR COMPANY IN THE FORD RANGER MANUFACTURING PLANT. TODAY FORD ISSUED AN URGENT RECALL ON THE 2006 FORD RANGER, WHICH IS THE TWIN OF MY VEHICLE, AND MANUFACTURED IN THE SAME FORD ASSEMBLY PLANT. \PLEASE HELP ENSURE MAZDA / FORD IS ACTUALLY GOING TO REPAIR THESE VEHICLES. AT THIS POINT IT APPEARS TO BE NO MANUFACTURER ACCOUNTABILITY.

TAKATA RECALL MY FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED YET, AND I LIVE IN TEXAS (ZONE A). I'VE BEEN WAITING MORE THAN A YEAR FOR MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE PART. THIS IS INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING AND UNACCEPTABLE.

I RECEIVE A NOTIFICATION FOR THE AIRBAG IS SOMETHING RUN. THE AIRBAG PUT AT RISK MY LIFE. AND WANT CANT I DO FOR REPLACEMENT THE AIRBAG.
TAKATA RECALL. IT HAS BEEN RECALLED FOR A TAKATA AIR BAG FIX OVER 1 YEAR AGO AND THEY TELL ME THERE IS NO FIX AS OF YET.
TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE A RECALL AND IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE DANGEROUS YET NO ONE IS FIXING THE ISSUE. I AM TOLD THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT. DOES NOT SOUND LIKE ROCKET SCIENCE, INSTALL A NEW PASSENGER FRONTAL AIR BAG INFLATOR.
TAKATA RECALL, NO REMEDY HAS BEEN MADE FOR THIS RECALL. THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP AVOIDS PHONE CALL AND WILL NOT RETURN THE PHONE CALL.
TAKATA RECALL I BROUGHT IN ME PICKUP TO THE DEALERSHIP SO I COULD GET THE RECALL COMPLIED WITH AND WAS TOLD THEY ARE ONLY INSPECTING THE COMPONENT. THEY CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE THE PART TO REPLACE IT. THEY S RECALL CAME OUT OVER A YEAR AGO. WHEN CAN I EXPECT THE MANUFACTURER TO COMPLY WITH THIS RECALL? THIS IS TAKING TO LONG.

THE CONTACT RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTIFICATION IN JULY OF 2016. THE DEALER (ROGER BEASLEY MAZDA OF GEORGETOWN (7551 N INTERSTATE HWY 35, GEORGETOWN, TX 78626) STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE FOR REPAIR, AND THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY LOANER VEHICLES TO PROVIDE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT THEY MANUFACTURER AND GIVE THE CONTACT A CALL BACK. THE MANUFACTURER FAILED TO RETURN HER PHONE CALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED OR MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
TAKATA RECALL. I WENT TO RON TONKIN MAZDA IN PORTLAND OR TO GET THE RECALL PERFORMED AND WAS TOLD THE PART NUMBER FOR THE REPLACEMENT AIR BAG DOES NOT EXIST.
