A motor mount bolt sheared causing the engine to shift violently making the vehicle undrivable. The car was driving in a residential area traveling at a low rate of speed, making a right turn when it occurred. Had it happened on a highway, the result could have been catastrophic. The car was towed to the dealer where it was purchased. The dealer stated that since the vehicle was out of warranty, they would not make any exceptions. We have reported this to Honda Corporate and are waiting for a response but felt that because of the safety concerns we should also report this to NHTSA. The head gasket has failed and Honda knows this is an issue. There is a lawsuit in California about the head gasket failing. With it failing the whole engine is at risk for being ruined. This is going to cost $4000-$10,000 for people to fix depending on the damage it causes the engine. I personally lost acceleration on the freeway while going up a hill and everyone around me going 65-80 mph. I have 11 warning lights on my car right now and it started overheating today with a warning stating that the engine was hot and to stop driving immediately. We had to get towed to the mechanic for the 2nd time this week. When searching online I realized this was a known issue and about the class action lawsuit.

I have keep regular maintenance up on my car. Recently all of the lights began flashing on the dashboard. I had oil changed, reset the battery, and all ignition coils. The lights came back on within a week. The car stalled while driving it and had to pull over inside of the highway, turn it off, wait a few minutes before turning it back on.

I have a 2019 Honda Accord the paint is completely chipping off and the clear coat on the roof and the hood is completely gone they had a recall on the white models doing the same thing I have the midnight pearl blue color the car is 7 years old I haven't even had it 5 years take very well care of it brought it to the Honda dealership in Palm harbor Florida the service manager Jared sent me over to the Buick dealer to get an estimate of almost $6,500 is what it would cost to get this fixed I've been trying to contact them for the last 3weeks never received a phone call back or heard anything and then in order for me to file a claim through the corporate of Honda I had to go and get the estimate from the gentleman at the Buick dealer and have an email sent to me because they refuse to contact me.. this doesn't even include everything else that I've had wrong with the vehicle prior to all this I've had to replace the head gasket fuel injectors bring the head of the motor to a machine shop to have it shaved down because there was a big gash from the manufacturer instead of them pulling the plastic off you could see someone cut it which ended up costing me another $300 this has been nothing but a nightmare. You can see on the edging of the hood all the paint is coming off and all on the edge of the back window and roof.. on top of paying almost $30,000 for this vehicle not even 5 years later this is the only vehicle that I own and the reason I bought it was because I thought it was going to be reliable it's been nothing but problems I take very well care of the vehicle always have it detailed and clean it's barely parked in the sun I have a carport it's always in the shade this is not from the Sun this is due to a defect from the factory when they painted it it's happening to other colors on the same make and model vehicle.. I'm sending pictures and the estimate

I have a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 1.5. I was driving on the freeway last week and my car did not allow me to accelerate anymore. Car went to an unsafe highway speed and it was hard to get to a shoulder where can safely stop. I felt my safety was compromised by this issue. All the warnings appeared on my dash and all the lights went on. No warnings prior to this problem. I am needing a new head gasket and repairs are estimated over 5K. I know there is a class action lawsuit against Honda because this issue is extremely common. I need help. I can’t afford these repairs and I depend on my car for transportation to work and child care daily. Please hole Honda accountable for this is very dangerous and very common.

On Monday, the 22nd of June, I returned to my vehicle after work with all windows rolled down, and appeared to have been searched? Nobody was harmed nor was there any property damage. Just visible signs of a security breach and could still be compromised.

I am submitting a safety complaint regarding my 2019 Honda Accord LX. While driving, a yellow “Brake System” warning light appeared on the dashboard. The vehicle continued to drive normally, and no obvious braking problems were noticed at that time. However, the warning remained illuminated while driving. In addition, I experienced intermittent episodes where pressing the accelerator pedal did not immediately increase vehicle speed. There was an approximately 1–2 second delay before the vehicle responded to throttle input. This occurred while the vehicle was in motion and could create a potentially dangerous situation in traffic. After turning the vehicle off and restarting it, the warning light disappeared. The issue appears intermittent. The brake fluid level is normal, and no diagnostic trouble codes were detected with a basic OBD-II scanner when the warning was present. After researching the issue online, I found multiple owners reporting similar symptoms involving brake system warnings and temporary loss of accelerator response on Honda Accord vehicles. I am concerned that this may indicate an electrical, braking system, sensor, or software-related defect that could affect vehicle safety. I request that NHTSA investigate this issue and determine whether a broader safety concern exists.

Vehicle: 2019 Honda Accord Sport 1.5L VIN: [XXX] Mileage: Approximately 122,497 My vehicle experienced a cylinder head gasket failure accompanied by coolant intrusion into the engine cylinders, injector-related issues, fuel trim failures, and cylinder misfires as diagnosed by an authorized Honda dealership. Prior to diagnosis, the vehicle experienced engine performance concerns associated with the misfire condition. The dealership documented historical misfire events and coolant intrusion into the combustion chambers. I am submitting this complaint because I am concerned that injector-related issues, engine misfires, coolant intrusion, and cylinder head gasket failures may represent a recurring condition affecting similarly equipped vehicles. Engine misfires and coolant intrusion can potentially result in reduced engine performance, loss of power, unexpected vehicle behavior, or engine failure while the vehicle is being operated. I request that NHTSA review this issue and determine whether a broader investigation is warranted. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

My Honda accord keeps trying to turn off in the middle of the fwy and I know it’s due to the fuel pump, I have a misfire and all the warning lights came on. This is due to Honda having the fuel pump recalled that has damaged all the fuel injectors. It took them almost a year to get the recall parts and now myself and a ton of others are now having to pay for these fuel injectors to have a car that doesn't stall and die on the road. Honda should have taken care of this knowing it damaged the fuel injectors.also issue with air bad supplemental issues

The car is consuming coolant but not leakage anywhere and has misfires at start, it has a blown head gasket

Head gasket blown on engine. Burned off coolant so no leaks detected and just showed high temperature to pull over and let engine cool. Could have cause engine fire and/or disabled vehicle while on road. Very expensive fix and dealers who were contacted said they’ve had multiple vehicles repaired for same issue. Online is widely reported problem with this make and model and among the different trim types all same problems

Complaint Regarding Ongoing Issues After Turbocharger Repair – 2019 Honda Accord I am submitting a complaint regarding ongoing issues with my 2019 Honda Accord after a turbocharger-related repair. The initial diagnostic code associated with the vehicle was P2563 (Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance). After the turbocharger/wastegate repair, my vehicle began displaying multiple system warnings, including: * Emissions System Problem * ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) warning * Collision Mitigation System warning * Lane Departure/Lane Keeping Assist warning * Electric Power Steering warning * Stability/traction control warnings * TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) warning After the repair, the vehicle began jerking and experiencing a loss of power. Multiple warning lights appeared. While the warning lights temporarily cleared after a couple of vehicle restarts, they later returned and continue to reoccur. I subsequently took the vehicle to Honda, where I was informed that a sensor required recalibration. Despite having the sensor recalibrated, the issues have continued, and the warning lights continue to return. I am requesting that Honda investigate whether the repair, wiring, sensors, modules, calibration, or the turbocharger system itself may have contributed to these ongoing problems. I have also noticed that many Honda Accord owners are reporting similar turbocharger-related issues and multiple warning lights appearing. This appears to be a very common issue among affected vehicles, and I believe it warrants further investigation to determine if there is a larger underlying problem affecting these vehicles. I am requesting that Honda review this matter, document these concerns, and provide a proper resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

SRS weight sensor failure-- triggers the dashboard warning light and disables my passenger airbag. My SRS light is on continuously. There is a current Honda recall for this issue for my make and model; however, do to my VIN not being listed, the Honda dealership wants to charge me a diagnostic fee plus the repair costs for the exact issue that the current recall is listed for. My VIN needs to be added. I should not have to come out of pocket to pay for this when I'm having the exact issue listed in the recall. My SRS light being on continuously is a MAJOR Safety concern because it disables the airbags--so in the event of an accident, the airbags will not deploy. I contacted Honda Corporate and they created a case--Case number 16432964 for this issue--but they told me it would be possibly months to get anything done and I would still have to pay out of pocket first. NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: 26V-332 CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION: 2018-22 Accord, Accord Hyb Seat Weight Sensor Recall Exp RECALL DATE: 05/21/2026 I have a service appointment on XXX @830AM at the Honda of Owings Mill Address: [XXX] Phone: [XXX] I am also experiencing the phantom braking issue (unintended activation of the Collision Mitigation Braking System) when there is no object in sight. The fix seams to be updating the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), which often require software updates and sensor recalibration. The dealership wants to charge me for this as well. STEERING ASSIST REDUCED, COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM PROBLEM. ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION SYSTEM PROBLEM. MY CAR WHEN I FIRST START IT IN THE MORNING IDLES VERY HARD AND THEN SETTLES. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO HONDA AND TRIED TO GET IT COVERED UNDER THE TSB BUT THE LIGHTS WENT OFF AND THEY CLAIM THEY COULD NOT PULL THE CODES. THIS HAS HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES AND MY CAR IS UNDER 150,000 MILES. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD IN TRAFFIC WHEN THE CAR DECIDES IT WANTS TO STALL.

Been getting humming/droning sound while driving. I had my mechanic check it but he said there’s no issue with tires or wheel bearings. It is really annoying to hear that kind of sound while driving

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, several unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that the turbo and gasket had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer replaced the turbo and gasket; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 168,000.

Blown head gasket. Engine lost power and forced me to pull over. The problem is well documented with this generation of Honda 1.5T engines, Honda dealership confirmed problem and second opinion from independent shop also confirmed, citing they had another Honda with the same 1.5T engine with the same blown head gasket issue. No clear warnings prior to event, all the dashboard lights flashed on when car lost power.

My Honda has experienced repeated failures of the front headlamps due to moisture accumulating inside the assembly. In addition the failures of the headlamps caused a fuse to blow rendering the turn signals inoperable. This is dangerous because it limits visibility at night, inability to signal other cars of turning. this first happened in 2024 and happened again in 2026. These conditions were confirmed by an independent repair shop. Honda service refused to make any consideration for the problem. The replacement of each headlamp is very expensive, over $1000.00. There were no warnings prior to the failure. the vehicle did display a message that there was a problem with the head lights once they failed.
